Breakfast - Muscle Building

Breakfast is my favourite meal because I can eat loads of food! I usually eat the same thing every day for each meal. This may be boring to some people, but this way I can eat the same amout of calories each day. I prefer it this way and I rarely have a cheat meal. If you are new to exercising, allow yourself a cheat meal each week as a reward for all of your hard work during the week.

My Breakfast

300ml skimmed milk

50g oats (dry weight)

Mix 200ml water and 100ml skimmed milk in a blender and add 50g whey protein powder.

1 medium banana

If I am low on time, I will put all of the ingredients into the blender and make a smoothie.

If I fancy something different, I will swap the banana with a handful of blueberries, strawberries and goji berries and a small bit of honey to taste.

 

Example Breakfasts

2 medium whole eggs

4 egg whites

2 slices wholewheat granary bread

Low fat olive spread

1 glass orange juice
